Creighton Construction & Development has expanded its in-house legal team with the hire of attorney Cathrine A. Hunter.
Hunter brings 18 years of expertise in tax, employment, business and environmental law to her new role at Creighton Construction & Development. She is the second in-house attorney in the company’s growing legal team, responsible for legal advising on real estate projects and transactions including title, survey, development, easement and lending matters as well as preparation of documents. Her role will support every stage of Creighton Construction & Development’s turnkey service, including site acquisition, engineering, design, permitting and construction services for commercial projects.
Hunter earned a Master of Laws in Taxation from the University of Florida, Levin College of Law, a Juris Doctorate from Stetson University College of Law, and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of South Florida.
Prior to joining Creighton Construction & Development, Hunter led her own practice, specializing in the areas of health care law, employment law, trust and estates, privacy law and corporate entities, corporate compliance and corporate regulation. She is active in the community, involved with Champions for Learning, Collier Building Industry Association Foundation, Collier County Bar Association and others.
